  • Drag the Mic volume: slider to the right to increase the volume input, to the left to lower the input.

Change Video Input

  • From the Select your Webcam: drop-down menu, select the appropriate Webcam to record videos.
  • Adjust the Lighting and focus the camera in the live video feed provided.

Adjust Webcam Controls

Press Webcam Controls to open the Webcam Panel dialogue box. This is the default panel for your webcam.
Tip:   If you are having trouble seeing yourself in the webcam:

- Make certain the webcam is plugged in properly.
- Make certain the webcam's driver is properly installed.
- Refer to the manufacturer's user manual for that Webcam.
Tip:  To get the best quality video, pay attention to the light in the room. Too much background light will wash the video out. Too much foreground light will wash you out. Experiment with the placement and orientation of your lights. When using video, lighting is everything!
Tip:    When you open your Camera's Webcam Control Panel, look for the "Auto" and/or "Full Auto" settings. We recommend that you de-select these settings for optimum video compression. If the lighting in your environment changes, feel free to open the Control Panel again, and select the "Auto" and/or "Full Auto" settings. This will adjust the webcam to your lighting environment. Once the webcam has adjusted to the lighting environment de-select these boxes to restore video compression.
