Parent Power: The Quiet Revolution
Dr. Maggie Mamen, a dynamic, humourous, and celebrated presenter and author will be coming to School Disrict 6 to speak with staff on November 23. Dr.Mamen is a clinical psychologist in private practice in Nepean, Ontario, who specializes in working with children, adolescents and their families. She is the author of three books and numerous articles and has appeared on radio and television programs across the country. Dr. Mamen has agreed to speak to parents on the evening of November 22 at 7:00pm at the Kings Valley Wesleyan Church in Quispamsis . The topic of her presentation is Parent Power: The Quiet . This seminar will explore peaceful ways in which we can regain our confidence as parents and reclaim our families. Mark this date in your calendar.
