Yearbooksales have been slow to this point in time with only about half of the typicalorder completed. Accordingly, sales will be extended until noon this Friday,November 30. The order will be placed before the end of the day, November 30.Additional yearbooks will not be ordered. In order to get a book in the springit must be ordered by the end of this week.
Iwanted to inform everyone that KVHS will be hosting a Multicultural Night thatwill be available to the community, free of charge. Multicultural Night will bea night filled with different cultural backgrounds from around the world and inour community. There will be booths set up different countries withinformation, quirky facts and food samples. As well as a variety of activities,there will be a Celebrate Culture Talent Show later in the evening. The nightis free of charge but there will be opportunities for the public to donate andsupport finances in the purchasing of resources for the English as anAdditional Language department. The multicultural night is Tuesday, November 27th.The night will begin at 6:00pm in the KVHS cafeteria. Come out and celebrate aculture filled night! Thank-you and I hope to see you there.
A newsletter concerning new features to improve communication with parents has been given to all students today. We are using our web site www.kvhigh.com to post all of my voicemail messages, an events calendar and daily announcements. A number of teachers use the web page to post course information. Have your student show you how the web page is being used in some of their classes. There are many different features and I invite you to explore our website.
Our fall play will be the Laramie Project. It will run fromNovember 15 to 17. Tickets are available at the office and the usualoutlets: Kennebecasis Drugs, Benjamin Books and Past Perfection for $7.00 each.Curtain at 8:00 pm.
Several buses have been arriving just before classes begin. This does not allow for delays for weather conditions and has resulted in a number of students being very rushed or late for class.

Merle Norman Cosmetics is presenting a Night of Elegance fashion show to promote the KV Fields Development Project. Fashion Show is at the New Amsterdam Inn in Quispamsis this Wed night Nov 7. Wine and Cheese will be served at 7:00 p.m., show begins at 7:30 All proceeds go to the KV Development project. We will be holding an event at Parent Teacher. We will be selling candy grams for a dollar which parents will be able to send to students as a âÂ& #128;Â& #156;pickme upâÂ& #128;Â& #157;.

Completedparent perception surveys must be in the school office by Thursday morning(November 8). They will be boxed and shipped that afternoon.
ParentTeacher interviews will be held from 5:00 pm until 7:30 pm on Thursday,November 8 and from 8:30 am until 11:30 am on Friday, November 9.
RemembranceDay assemblies are organized for Thursday, November 8 at approximately 2:10 and2:50.
