Welcoming Polly to the Family!

We are thrilled to announce that our family has grown! Polly Grace (named by Ava) joined us on Monday, August 7th (Eddie's Birthday) and after only 2 days, we are all in love.

Polly's an Airedale Terrier and was born May 30th in Gandeeville, WV.  Eddie met the breeder half-way in Elkins, WV and brought her home to the anxiously awaiting Kuznicki's.
So far, she's been a great puppy -- only one accident in the house (fingers crossed) and she seemed pretty remorseful afterward too! We adore her and will be sharing more info soon on our adventures!

For now, see the gallery (click above or use http://vibejournal.com/fiestawest/gallery/)  for some more pictures.

Fiesta West

What do you do when your 4-year old is crying hysterically begging you to play Fiesta West and you have no idea what song that is?  Well, after listening to several ABBA songs on the iPOD, you figure it must be one of them, but which one?

Is it the Mommy, Mommy, Mommy song?  (aka Money, Money, Money)?  No, not that one.

Is it the Dancing Queen, Tangerine song?  No, not that one either.

How about S.O.S?  "That's it Mommy, Fiesta West!"

Well, it is always Fiesta time here in Harrisonburg with our 2 little angels!  Here's Ava (accompanied by Carina of course)

Kicking Off Lawn Party Season

Summer's here and that means one thing in particular in these parts -- Lawn Parties!

We kicked it off right this summer with the Singer's Glen lawn party -- just around the bend.

What's a lawn party?  Essentially, it's food, music, games for the kids, and a lot (a whole lot) of fun people-watching.  At many, such as the one last weekend in Singer's Glen, there is also a parade.

The kids love these, and honestly, they are a lot of fun!

Be sure to visit the Gallery to see all the pictures from our Archeology float and the parade.
