Another successful book-signing event!

I want to take a moment to thank all my friends and colleagues from Farelcollege for stopping in and purchasing a copy of The Butterfly Clinic.   Also, a huge thank you to the, Dames van Amesz, for organizing the event, as well as the nice interview with, Mr. Woldring from the Rotterdam newspaper, De Ster.   And, of course, Dirk Izelaar for his role in this event.     Book Signing - 24/Nov/2007 The big day is nearly here! My first official book signing at a Real Bookstore! Yikes! (see 24-nov) The Oosterboekhandel J. Amesz is a very quaint, 120-year-old bookstore, located in Rotterdam. It is located very near the Libanon Lyceum High School, where I teach ELL, every Tuesday to 130 eager Freshman! I would like to thank Els Oosterlaan, Conrector at Libanon, for giving me the tip to request a book signing at her favorite bookstore; and Margrit van den Berg for sacrificing her lunch hour to drive me to the bookstore and introduce me to the owners; and finally, the "Dames van Amesz", for allowing me the privilage of having The Butterfly Clinic's public debut in their lovely family owned bookstore. If you are in the neighborhood, stop in and enjoy this book lover's atmosphere. De oudste en gezelligste boekhandel van Rotterdam... OOSTERBOEKHANDEL J. AMESZ

    I just realized that a few people escaped the watchful eye of the photographer...Also, thank you for visiting J. Amesz to my friend, Ineke van der Ent; my colleague, Diane Jacobs-Goudswaard and her husband Johan. Hope you all enjoy the read.
